Chinese Abdominal Massage

Chinese abdominal massage and organ acupressure is a powerful method of detoxifying, strengthening and bringing balance to the body and it's organ systems. Sessions are based on Chi Nei Tsang, a method of organ massage which literally translates into “working with the energy of the internal organs”. Your treatment will work directly with the internal structures of the body, increasing the flow of qi to the organs and addressing the body’s various organ systems -- the digestive, respiratory, reproductive, urinary, nervous, integumentary, lymphatic, endrocine, musculoskeletal, and energy systems (qi). It will train the organs to work more efficiently, healing the body from the inside out.

Detoxification
Before we can achieve better health and find balance in our bodies, we must first clear the body of excess toxins that have likely accumulated over time. Toxicity in the body comes in all kinds of forms, from stress and unprocessed emotions, to unhealthy eating habits, pesticides, and substance abuse. Abdominal massage and organ acupressure help the body to rid itself of these accumulated toxins by stimulating the organ systems to improve organ function, and moving the body into a parasympathetic state, giving it the opportunity to detoxify naturally. It encourages proper digestion and waste elimination, and promotes the circulation of blood, lymph and qi in the body.

Treatment
Abdominal massage and organ acupressure treatments are 30 minutes, which can either be included in your bodywork session by request, or added to your acupuncture treatment (follow-up visits only) for an additional cost.
